LEAD ROOFS

As a London roofing specialist, Series A Roofing has extensive experience with lead roofs including step flashings, cover flashings, back gutters for chimney stacks and lead clad dormers.

All our London roofers and operators working in Wimbledon, Sutton, Wandsworth and the neighbouring boroughs undergo regular training with lead roofs and understand the nature of the materials they deal with.

As part of this ongoing training we work in conjunction with City and Guilds and the Lead Sheet Association to ensure we have the best knowledge and experience when working with lead roof structures. We also have operatives who are working towards the prestigious City and Guilds 6055 Lead Workers Certificate.

Whether it’s roof construction, roof maintenance and cleaning, roof repair and damage control or comprehensive roof reports, Series A Roofing work hard to offer the best quality in the industry and set standards for the sector across Surrey and the London boroughs.

Top tip: As with all roofing materials, lead roofs are susceptible to cracks and deterioration over time. Whether it’s due to the heating and cooling of tiles or other external factors that might cause a lead roof to fracture or shatter, lead roofing requires maintenance and care. Pay extra attention to your lead roof if you believe it has been damaged in any way and make sure you work with specialists to maintain the roof for years to come.
